9月9日，浙江省与美国印第安纳州友城工作会议在线上举行。此次会议由浙江省外办与印第安纳州经济发展厅共同举办，会议着力拓展友城交往内容，贯通省州、地市、县区三级友城，涵盖经贸、教育、人文等合作领域。台州市与友城印州韦恩堡市作为参会嘉宾参与其中。

On September 9, Zhejiang-Indiana Sister Cities Roundtable Meeting was held online. This meeting was jointly held by Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, with efforts made to develop the content of communications between sister cities, connecting three levels of sister cities including province and state, prefecture and municipality, and county and district, and covering economy and trade, education, humanity and other cooperation fields. 台州市人民对外友好协会专职副会长王蓓参加会议并发言，她简单介绍了台州城市概况，并且回顾了10年来台州与韦恩堡的交流情况，这10年两市不断深化交流，在经贸、文化、教育、体育、医疗等领域取得富有成效的交流成果。她还展望了两市未来的交流愿景，愿两市共同努力，找到后疫情时期友城交流的新机遇，创造友城交流新的精彩。

Wang Bei, the full-time Vice Chairman of Taizhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, briefed the general information of Taizhou City and reviewed the communication of Taizhou with Fort Wayne over the previous decade. During this period of 10 years, these two cities constantly deepened their communication and obtained productive communication achievements in the fields such as the economy and trade, culture, education, sports and medical treatment. Fort Wayne is an industrial and commercial city on the bank of Maumee River in the northeast part of Indiana, U.S., which was originally a place of residence of Miami Indians. It is a strategic location of water traffic between the Great Lakes and Ohio River; and also a hub of railway and road traffic.
